of posts to catch up on, but I'll save those for another day.
The last few months my life has been insane, fighting on and off with Jay, being REALLY sick, getting prepared for the holidays, and a huge event that is about to take place in my life(that I can't yet share, cos' it's not my business to tell), etc. etc etc. It's really taken it's toll, I'm ALWAYS exhausted, and because of that I've let a lot of things slide, I've let my schedule become out of control- Making me EVEN MORE exhausted!
Today, though? Today was perfect. I could not of asked for a more perfect day. The kids were fantastic, we followed our schedule to a 'T', I got so much done around the house, and look, I'm even finding the time and energy to blog!
We even made time for a craft today. I've been working with Audrey to learn her letters. We've been working on just A & B the last few weeks. Practicing every single day, but she just couldn't grasp it. I realize all kids learn at their own pace, but she starts Pre-K next fall and I want her prepared. I decided to make this letter thing more fun! So I cut & glued a letter A to some construction paper and then had AJ glue and put sequins all over it. She had a blast! She's even remembered her letter all day, we will see about tomorrow though. I plan to introduce a new letter every week, as long as she is remembering. I am a proud mama today. Oh, I just love her.
